I love talking about Norstar Industries. I’m passionate about the work we do here and the quality we produce. When I speak at conferences, I use this video as an introduction because it gives a sense of our work, of the culture at Norstar, and of my philosophy.
Norstar is a company full of experienced engineers, creative designers, and talented builders. Our focus on roadside spraying gives us an advantage over other spray system manufacturers who adapt their systems from agriculture spraying equipment. We are experts on the very specific needs of roadside spraying.
Our first truck rolled out in 1985 and since then we’ve continued to hone the design. We developed the first and only sprayhead specifically for roadside application. We designed the first closed-load system in the industry, which is now included on every injection spray truck. We created the powerful Longshot boom and we have multiple GPS to choose from.
Today, we deliver new trucks every month to customers from all over the U.S and Canada. We continue to listen to our customers to understand their challenges in range and/or terrain, and what new features would be helpful.
When I talk to customers about their needs, I’m proud to tell them that 99% of our trucks are still on the road and still working 20 years after delivery. It’s an indicator of how durable and well-made our products are.
The Norstar fabricating base occupies a small footprint in a community south of Seattle. Customers are often surprised how unassuming our space is.
The size of our facility allows us to be razor focused on the details of each truck we build. We may look small, but we are producing big results.
