Pump Tube Selection Procedure

Print Step 1 - Define Variables
Define the following conditions for spraying:
- Maximum or average application width, in feet.
- Average application speed, in miles per hour.
- Chemical application rate, in ounces/acre.
Step 2 - Calculate Pump Demand
Use the following equation to calculate the pump demand:
Step 3 - Use Chart To Find Correct Tube
Compare the pump demand calculated in step 2 to the correct pump chart below to find the appropriate pump tube size.
It is best to select the smallest pump tube size that will meet the calculated pump demand.
